Dr. Gretchen-Doorly works with two special groups of people in her private practice: adults living with a newly diagnosed or chronic illness and adults with anxiety and/or depressive disorders. Dr. Gretchen-Doorly’s core values as a Counseling Psychologist unite her practice. Her core belief is that every patient deserves treatment that discovers and builds on personal strengths in the face of major life challenges. She combines the best of short- and long-term psychodynamic therapy with practical cognitive-behavioral techniques designed to help people understand the impact of emotions on their behavior and address personal roadblocks to success.
